Job Description

The function of a  Field Engineer is to use their technical expertise and experience to install a range of vehicle cctv and other associated products into customer's vehicles in a highly professional and timely manner ensuring best practice techniques at every stage of the process.

Main Functions and Responsibilities

" Must have vehicle CCTV installation experience.
" Health and safety documentation must be completed before commencement of each installation / repair.
" Ensure the "Job Sheet" is completed in full and signed by an authorised person before leaving the installation / repair.
" Perform the allocated work on-time, accurately and with a high quality of workmanship.
" Troubleshoot, customer queries on perceived faulty equipment and suggest resolutions, designate equipment.
" Maintain the accuracy of assigned inventory to ensure accountability and integrity of stock, all company equipment is kept secure at all times.
" Successfully perform duties with minimal daily supervision.
" Ensure the Company polices and guidelines are adhered to at all times.
" Maintain pro-active daily communication with customers to ensure resolution and appropriate follow up, leading to customer satisfaction.
" Focus on customer needs and satisfaction, continuously building on and enhancing relationships with customers to become the preferred supplier.
" Engage with other team members to ensure they are aware of the status of all issues outstanding with  customers.

" Service report writing, all documentation with in the job pack to be completed in full.
" Ability to pay attention to detail and quality.
" Planning and time management.
" Ability to work good in tight deadlines.
" Initiative, adaptive, and willingness to learn.

" Ability to demonstrate good attention to detail, good judgement showing logical decision making

" Hands-on individual that is happy to 'roll up their sleeves' and resolve any problems or issues that may arise within the department

" Good communication and interpersonal skills

" Team player who is confident and a self-starter, with the ability to operate in a dynamic environment

" Proven ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

" A strong desire to effect continuous improvements to the systems and processes

" Willing to stay away overnight
