My client based on the boarder of Suffolk and Cambridge is seeking a Sales Manager.

This is a exciting new role due to expansion.

Package:- Circ £50,000 + car + bonus + benefits.

Person:-

Seeking a candidate with the following:-

o At least three years proven experience of successfully creating, developing and leading sales teams including managing performance and team development.
It is essential that you have experience within a technical/engineering field.

o Strong, proven track record of exceeding individual targets, delivering through the team.
o Confident negotiator and ability to facilitate deal closing through,
o Demonstrable understanding of how to sell technology based products and solutions
o Results focused with proven strategic methodology
o Commercial mindset
o Problem solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information to assist the marketing team
o Team player; passionate to work with the Account Management team and engage successfully with clients
o Strong communication and negotiation skills
o Self-motivated and capable of working with all client layers
o Experience of recruiting and training sales staff
o Capable of hands-on problem-solving, with ability to generate ideas and solutions
o Ability to cope with competing demands and to prioritise tasks
o Strong communication skills in all forms including written, oral, email, telephone, and presentation
o Excellent organisational and time management skills
o Capable of working independently, and having responsibility as an individual
o Full driving license
o Ability and willingness to travel - national and international travel will be required.
Seeking a candidate who resides in East Anglia/Cambridge area.


Responsibility:-

o Sales Champion - Lead and motivate the Sales team to deliver revenue targets
o Line manage, train and develop team members
o Exceed the sales plan and business objectives by selling solutions to target companies across the UK
o Research and engage both self-generated and marketing generated prospects with the company value propositions
o Develop and manage a pipeline of opportunities following the sales process
o Use the client products to demonstrate capabilities to prospects clients
o Create sales proposals and respond to client RFP's, bids and tenders
o Work with marketing and product teams to ensure the client solutions are positioned accurately
o Develop growth strategies and action plans for the commercialisation of the portfolio, in line with the company capabilities and expectations
o Provide accurate sales forecast as demanded by the company
o Understand customer's needs, qualify leads, and work closely with the Account Managers to provide competitive solutions for customers and drive the sales cycle
o Manage other sales opportunities as a secondary task when requested by the company
o Promote solutions externally, including customer meetings, conferences and exhibitions as and when required
o Prepare action plans by individuals as well as by team for effective prospecting
o Provide timely feedback to senior management regarding performance.
o Through CRM ensures the maintenance of accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports submitted by Account Managers
o Assist Account Managers with the preparation of proposals and presentations
